A site specific street light in Himi -City, Toyama, Japan. It provides low positioned down light, which is not destructing the view of starry sky and fisherman's lamp on the boat. The height is just above the level of cleared snow. The shape came from the regions fish industry - famous in large Yellowtail and Sardine. Also, it borrowed a structure of Japanese traditional lantern - a reflection of a famous poet who lived the region in 8th century.
